Description

This curriculum is based on the educational philosophy and writings of Charlotte Mason, who based all learning on self-discovery, living books, notebooking, and learning through experiencing.

Charlotte Mason emphasized laying a feast before children and placing them in a large room, both meaning exposing children to many, many wonderful subjects over their educational career, and the riches are a huge part of this!

The riches are subjects like Bible study, poetry, art study, composer study, learning hymns and folk songs, handicrafts, virtue readings, and more! These subjects are all worthwhile and meaningful, but often get tossed to the side when subjects like math, phonics, grammar, and science are seen as “more important.”

Fitting the riches in doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming in order to add a fullness to your children’s education that they may otherwise be lacking. With Daily Riches, in just about twenty minutes a day many days, your children can experience the riches with this open-and-go resource!

    Highly recommend!
I love the way the curriculum is laid out. It’s easy to follow and the books and activities are so great! It was a great way for our family to focus on what Thanksgiving is supposed to be about and learn some history along the way.

21 Hands-On Activities

  • Bring the learning to life through hands-on activities!
  • Children will dissect a flower, compare seeds, watch oxygen come out of a leaf, see water travel through the veins of a leaf and SO much more!
  • Interact with nature in fun ways such as through painting with nature, creating a flower bookmark, and making perfume with flower petals.

On top of all that, it also includes:

While not every lesson lends itself to notebooking, many lessons include a notebooking page where children will diagram, draw, and write about what they learned in their readings and activities.
